JOHN MOOY
John is an accomplished storyteller, educator,
author, sculptor, public radio presenter, and
songwriter. He has a variety of speeches for any age
group including his powerful presentation called
"7•24•21•5™" the numbers of success. These simple
ideas and concepts can be applied to everyone’s
lives, and can make great impacts on the world
around them. John celebrates ideas such as, taking
chances, making mistakes, and getting out of your
comfort zone.

COLIN BERGEL
When Colin is sailing on a Great Lakes Freighter, with
the Olgebay Norton Company, he likes to spend his
spare time writing children’s books. His first book,
Mail by the Pail, Colin teaches children about many
topics from the Great Lakes mail system, to how a
book is written and published. Colin’s presentation is
for kindergarten to fifth grade and is customizable
based on the class’s knowledge of, Mail by the Pail.

ROBERT LYTLE
Bob is the award winning author of the Mackinac
Passage series and A Pitch In Time. He delights
students and teachers alike as he wears the “many
hats of an author,” strums his guitar as he puts
poems to music and talks about the art of writing.
Bob also illustrates how the writing lessons learned
in school are utilized to make almost everything
better-poetry, songs, short stories, novels, and even
application letters. He proves to both children and
adults that writing is a worthwhile activity for all
ages, and one is never too young or old to begin!

BILL WILLIAMS
Bill is an award winning artist. He has had his
paintings displayed in such places as Yankee stadium
and the baseball hall of fame in Cooperstown.
Kids have the opportunity to learn Michigan history
through eye-popping pictures based on in-depth
historical research. Bill talks about how to realize
their full potential and learn tips of the trade from
an accomplished artist.

MARK HERRICK
Mark is a very accomplished artist. He is most
notably known for his work with the Michigan
L.A.P.’s™ program for 4th graders. He has many
published books, including the Buck Wilder Series of
books, and ROCK U.S.A.™ and the American Way.
Mark gives a drawing demonstration, and encourages
students to draw along with him, as he teaches
them about how to “ROCK! The American Way.”

CAROLYN STICH
Carolyn Stich is the illustrator for such books as,
Paul Bunyan and the Winter of the Blue Snow,
and Liberty and Justice for All. Carolyn has several
presentations to choose from including the Core
Democratic Values and How To Illustrate A Book. She
will entertain and astonish you with her great art
work, and delightful personality.

TIM GEORGE
Tim is Mr. Etch A Sketch®! He delights students and
teachers alike with his Etch A Sketch® art, his book,
Looking at Animals with Mr. Etch A Sketch®, and
his wonderful personality and stories. This wonderful
experience is great for any age group and can be tied
into many different aspects of curriculum.

GARY ELZERMAN
Gary is a chainsaw artist from Michigan. He loves to
delight children of all ages with his chainsaw
carvings and now his new book! Connor the Carver Carves Michigan's Symbols
will be available in Fall 2005. Invite Gary Elzerman to come and delight
your students as he presents Connor the Carver and
some of his fantastic sculptures.
