The Michigan L.A.P.'sGame provides fourth grade teachers and
students with a creative, entertaining way to review the concepts and ideas
presented in the Michigan L.A.P.s program. The game is designed to
give students practice in skills and strategies needed to be more successful on
the MEAP tests.
They begin by answering a multiple-choice question to earn 100
points. As the game progresses, students have the opportunity to answer
questions of increasing point values. Questions are randomly selected from a
database of questions related to each unit of the L.A.P.s program,
as well as other fun facts from Michigan history.
Students will have fun and learn as they play the Michigan
L.A.Ps game and teachers will benefit from the practical editing
and assessment features.
Questions can be altered, added or omitted. A record of individual
students results for each game can be monitored.
Since each question is coded by a *topic number, teachers can
easily identify the topics where students need further review.
